Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Stevens, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of the service

Stevens is a productivity tool that works alongside Gmail. Stevens may review Gmail thread content and metadata, classify threads, create or update Gmail labels, and prepare draft replies for your review.

Stevens is not a law firm, a communications agency, or a records retention system. Stevens is also not a replacement for your judgment when sending email or managing sensitive information.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You may use Stevens only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and are authorized to connect the Google account you use with Stevens.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your connected account and for activities that occur through your use of Stevens.

4. Google account authorization

By connecting Google, you authorize Stevens to access the Google account information and Gmail permissions you approve, including the permissions needed to read relevant Gmail threads, manage Gmail labels, and create Gmail draft replies.

You may disconnect Stevens by deleting your Stevens account or by revoking Stevens' access in your Google account settings. Revoking access may disable some or all Stevens functionality.

5. Drafts and AI-generated output

Stevens may provide draft replies, classifications, and similar suggestions generated with AI assistance. Those outputs are for review only.

• You remain solely responsible for reviewing and approving drafts.
• Stevens does not guarantee that suggestions are accurate, complete, lawful, or appropriate for your situation.
• Stevens does not send emails automatically on your behalf through the current product experience.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Stevens to:

• violate any law or another person's rights;
• access data or accounts without authority;
• probe, disrupt, or interfere with the service or its security;
• use the service to transmit malware, spam, or other abusive material; or
• copy, resell, or reverse engineer the service except as allowed by law.

7. Third-party services

Stevens depends on third-party services, including Google and service providers used for hosting, infrastructure, authentication, and AI processing. Those third parties may have their own terms and privacy policies, and Stevens is not responsible for third-party services or outages beyond Stevens' reasonable control.

Stevens uses Railway as part of its hosting and deployment infrastructure. Service availability, performance, and some operational functions may depend in part on Railway and other third-party providers.

8. Intellectual property

Stevens and its related software, branding, and content are owned by Peter Blanco or licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the service.

9. Suspension and termination

Stevens may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time if necessary to protect the service, comply with law, or respond to a breach of these Terms.

You may stop using Stevens at any time. Deleting your Stevens account removes Stevens-stored account data, but Gmail labels or drafts that Stevens already created in your Gmail account may remain in Gmail unless you remove them there.

10. Disclaimers

Stevens is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stevens disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peter Blanco will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising out of or related to Stevens.

12. Changes to these terms

Stevens may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of Stevens after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
